A slogan for display only. 一个摆美的口号.

"Satu....Malaysia! Satu....Malaysia! Satu....Malaysia!" Nice slogan isn't it? But too bad, to walk this talk is rather hard for the people who shout it out loud. Why i said so? Simple answer, still no equalization applied in certain aspect.

One of the pop singer of Malaysia known as Ah Niu (The cow), recently has self directed a local Chinese movie called "Ice Kacang Puppy Love". The movie hits our local block buster and selling quite well at overseas too. Everyone thought he has made himself a fortune, but the fact is....NO.

Recently he went to Taiwan to promo this movie and showed up in a talk show telling about his experience of directing movie. When the host asking about how was his debt going on for making this movie. He burst out a statement :"At here, i would like to appeal to our government not to tax the 20% of this movie for now"

Yea, i know you who reading this is in shock, same as the host. Ah Niu was born originally at Penang and a truly Malaysian, however his movie has been taxed by his own country due to categorize as foreign language film!

Surprise? A population of over 5 million Chinese living in the country but the government still treat Chinese is a foreign language? Let's put the language topic a side, let's talk about nationality. Ah Niu is Malaysian, so isn't he suppose to get support from the film industry of Malaysia? 一个马来西亚的口号几乎每天都可以在国营电视台听到. 多好的一句口号, 不是吗? 可惜的是, 作得到吗?

本地著名歌星, 阿牛首次自导自演了一部电影名为:"初恋红豆冰". 在大马和海外的票房成绩辉煌, 让大家为他感到骄傲, 也以为他因此而猪笼入水. 很可惜, 事实并非如此.

日前阿牛在台湾宣传自己这部电影时, 在张小燕主持的清谈节目中分享自己的导演经验. 当小燕姐问及他在投资这部电影所遇到的负债问题时, 阿牛说了一句让身为华人的大马人心酸的事实:"在这里呼吁马来西亚政府, 20%的税先不要抽"

读着这篇文章的你应该也在惊讶当中, 主持人张小燕也是如此. 阿牛是土生土长的马来西亚国民. 然而他的电影因为被抽20%就在于里面的内容不是用马来语而列为外语片!

惊奇吗? 一个拥有超过5百万华裔人口的国家, 竟然把华语当成外语来对待. 说得过去吗? 姑且不拿语言来评论, 阿牛是大马人, 不是应该得到大马电影局的支持吗? 我让大家一起看着片段来深思吧!

Pollution with a reason?! 污染有理?

As i was taking ferry back to home town, i saw a large amount of brown color smoke came out from a building, the smoke is getting more and more, and i thought there is a fire accident happened on that moment! I was panic for once, but when i realised that only me myself who is jumping like a chimpanzee for this scene, i felt awkward. No one on the ferry that feel there is anything wrong about the smoke, they don't even bother to move their eyes to look at it.

I am in shock, surprise to see this. Is the smoke suppose to be there all the time? Why it is brown in color? I could not get the answer from all these stranger as they don't seems to have interest to answer me as it seems like a stupid question to ask.

Well, i got back my home town, showing the photos to the gangs and finally found the answer. This is the smoke from a tin smelting company which is nearby the ferry terminal, it is normal as the factory will need to push out this air once the tin smelting process is done. I asked my friend, is it harmful? No one able to answer me as this scenario is repeating from the past decades. Since no one is having any abnormal body health, guess is harmless to the people living nearby.

Seriously, i doubt that! How could you tell that this brown color smoke is harmless? Even we know the white color smoke from the ciggy and exhaust are also bad for human body! Are the authorities fall asleep or been blind folded all these years? Can't they see the smoke?

We are living in 21st century and we are now talking about protecting mother earth, green house effect, save green, recycle. But this end, the air pollution seems keep on going and doing like a long lasting batteries.......wordless!

有天乘渡轮回到家乡的时候, 从对面的码头附近的天空飘起团团的褐色烟雾, 而且越来越多, 越来越大越浓! 我当时马上连想到不知道那里发生大火灾了! 然而当我在为这眼中看到的情形不断拍照的时候, 更令我惊讶的是, 在这渡轮上的乘客并没有对这情景作出任何的反应. 显然这是自己的身外事, 不需要多管. 原本想问看到底怎么回事的我, 也不认为他们会很有耐心的来回答我这对他们来说是愚蠢的问题了.

回到家, 找了一些朋友来问个究竟. 原来这褐色的烟雾是码头附近一家锡溶场所释放出来的. 我于是问朋友:"这烟雾对人体有害吗?", 得到的答案是没有人可以肯定的给我一个答案! 大家都觉得这烟雾的释放动作已经不断的重复了几个年代, 大家看起来都很健康, 而且相安无事, 所以就认为这烟雾是对人体没有害处的吧?

老实说, 我满肚子的怀疑! 一个带有褐色的烟雾怎么会没有害处呢? 就连从烟和排气管出来的白色烟雾都会对人体造成伤害, 没有理由褐色会给人体更健康, 延年益寿吧?! 有关当局是在搞什么, 瞎了么? 这几乎每星期施放的褐色烟雾难道会看不到?

我们生活在这21世纪的世界里, 现在到处都在讲求环保, 爱护大自然, 绿屋效应. 然而这边厢却不断的让这种方式的空气污染延续下去......无言!

You want to die, i don't stop you; but please be considerate! 你要死我阻止不了你, 不过请为别人设想!

I don't smoke but i don't stop someone who is smoking as this is one's choice. If the smokers smoke in an open area, i don't give a damn about it; however if they smoke in a non-smoking area, that gets on my nerves!

In Penang ferry, passengers are not allow to smoke outside the smoking room, and the non-smoking sign can be seen in every corner of the ferry for both walking and driving passengers. However, still some numskulls ignore the sign and smoke on a ferry and it is outside the smoking area!

Hello~~~~I don't have the rights to control your live and dead but i do have control on mine! So please, if you want to die with lung cancer, go ahead and make your day; but use your brain and consider for others that do not want to die because of your second-hand smoke!

Thanks to the ferry company as well, as you just stick a sign but do not enforce it, now everyone can smoke on a ferry without worry about FINE!

我不喜欢抽烟, 但是我从来不阻止其他人抽, 因为这是个人的选择. 如果烟客在户外抽烟, 我没意见; 然而如果他们是在禁烟区抽烟, 那可会惹恼我了!

槟城渡轮, 乘客除了在特定抽烟室里抽烟以外, 是禁止在渡轮上抽烟的, 而且禁止抽烟的贴示可在渡轮每个角落看得到. 但是, 还是有部分的低能烟客忽视这项禁止而正大光明的在渡轮上抽烟!

诶~~! 我没有权利主宰你的死活, 但是我可有活着的权利呀! 所以拜托, 如果你想死于肺癌的话, 你请便; 但是请用你脑袋为别人设想一下, 其他人可不要吸你的二手烟而死呀!

同时也要感谢渡轮公司, 因为他们只是贴上告示而没强制实行, 所以等于如同虚设. 烟客大可不必烦恼被罚款而可以继续大咧咧地在渡轮上抽烟!

Don't turn tragedy news into politic topic, ok?! 不要把灾难新闻政治化, 好么?!

17th of January 2009, marked as the sad day of the family members whose son has involved in a dragon boat training session ended in tragedy. One teacher died in this incident and 1 student was drowned while 4 are missing. However 2 more bodies has been found the next day and left 2 in missing stage. Parents of the casualties are crying deadly on scene as they have lost their dearest son on this tragedy. Many has sent in their condolences to the unfortunate family and showing their sympathy in forums, facebook and twitter.

However, while everyone is concern on the search and rescue progress. A forum user posting up a thread questioning the Penang Minister - Mr Lim Guan Eng, pin-pointed on why he is not the first person that appear on the scene when tragedy happened, doubting on his loyalty/concerns to the Penang people and all kinds of crazy accuses......

C'mon la! Enough la! There are still missing people out there and all you people concern is why the PM is not in scene the first!?!?!?! What's the F***ing point?!!?!? Will it helps!?!?!? Pretty obvious that this wacko is trying to take this incident to put the blame on the PM. What's the reason behind?!?!?!?

Enough is enough, please do not use the tragedy as the platform for your politics battle place. You are not only disrespect the families of the casualties but bring disgrace to yourself!

然而, 当大家都非常关切的注意事情的进展, 并希望尽快找到另两位失踪者时, 一名网络用户竟然在论坛里公开质疑槟洲首席部长 - 林冠英先生. 内容炮轰他为何没有第一时间出现在现场指挥质疑他对槟城人民的关怀, 类似种种....

好了啦! 够了啦! 外头还有无法寻获的失踪者, 而你却关切为何部长没有第一时间抵达现场?!?! 用意何在?!?! 帮得到什么吗?!?!? 很明显这王八是在利用此事来为林首长套上莫须有罪名. 背后的目的是什么?!?!?!

凡事都要有个限度. 请不要利用灾难事件来作为你的政治战场的平台! 你这样做不单只是不尊敬罹难者家属, 也为你自己蒙羞!
